The Carp on the left was washed up on the bank behind the scout hut on Hope Street
I found it 4 days after the flood and it was being eaten by maggots
In another 48 hours all that was left was skin and bones.
A more fortunate fish was a trout I found in mud in the bar of the flooded Queens Arms.
I released it in a quiet area of the stream where hopefully it survived.
I call this photo "Magggots Revenge"
